Taking Strides Adaptive Sport

About this program

Taking Strides offers accessible sports programs with one-on-one support for children with any disability! Our goal is to build physical literacy and teamwork skills through adaptive games including hockey, badminton, relay races, soccer, parachute activities, and so much more! At sessions, kids have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with their paired volunteer and join a supportive community of kids with disabilities in Vancouver. Our sessions are personalized to fit each child’s needs to grow their skill set while having fun!
