Youth In Rhythm is an opportunity for experienced tap dancers to develop performance skill while immersing themselves in choreography and rhythm exploration. This course is geared towards experienced dancers 12+yrs and currently register in the Shadbolt Tap Program in intermediate Tap or Advanced Tap. Dancers will perform at the end of the Fall session with an informal studio performance, International Dance Day April 25, 2026 and at the end of the year spring concerts. Please note this class take place on Tuesdays; other dates listed are rehearsal and performance days and are subject to change. Fee includes extra fees for performance ($17.00) and costume ($30.00). Please pick up a long-term dance handbook at the front office for more information and dress code requirements. Payment plan option (via credit card payments) available: 50% of payment due at time of registration, 25% due on Dec 15, and 2 payment 25% due on Mar 15, 2026. Instructor: Bryn Kinders “To give long-term arts students ample time to determine if a long-term program is right for them, students can attend 4 classes before a year long commitment is required. If you withdraw during this period, you will be charged only for each class you attend without being charged the City of Burnaby refund fee of 10%. Withdrawals/refunds are NOT permitted after the start of the 5th class of a long-term program.” Instructor: Bryn Kinders
