This workshop focuses on the medicinal and traditional uses of local plants, teaching participants how to create their own healing salves. This is a subsidized program, $10 fee covers material costs. Vanessa Walterson is a Métis-Cree educator and former professional sous-chef with a passion for natural skincare, Indigenous plant knowledge, and experiential learning. Her workshops combine practical skills, creativity, and accessible education to create engaging experiences for participants of all ages.
