Surrounded by mountains and water at Jericho Beach, there are no better settings to play beach volleyball in Canada. This year, Urban Rec will be delivering the Monday Jericho Beach Coed 4’s League on behalf of the City of Vancouver Parks Board. This league will be operated like all other Urban Rec Beach Volleyball leagues (including on-site delivery) while registration and payment will be managed by the City of Vancouver Parks Board. This is a coed 4’s league – a full starting lineup consists of at least 2 women and 1 man. All skill levels are welcome, and your team will be sorted into Divisions based on your skill level that you register for as well as past performance (if applicable) as best as possible. Teams may also be reseeded during the course of the season. Due to an event in August, Locarno Beach will NOT be available on August 10 or August 17. Teams will play 3 matches July 13, August 24 & 31. To ensure that teams get their full complement of games (21) Teams will play 4 matches July 20, 27 and August 3. Games WILL be played on holiday Mondays (August 3). Note that if games are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, additional matches may be scheduled some weeks and/or the league end date may be extended in order to make up any missed games.
