About this program

Focus on Fundamentals: the primary emphasis will be age and ability appropriate skill development. This will reflect the recommendations of the National Coaching Certification Program Long-Term Athlete Development Model. Increasing skill competency increases likelihood that children will gain the confidence to continue to play and enjoy playing. Emphasis will be on individual skill development, with scrimmages and games. Coaches and participants will maintain social distancing, and promote hand washing or hand sanitization before, during and after the program. After the session, staff will disinfect the sporting equipment. Please bring a water bottle and towel, and avoid bringing any other personal items.
