About this program

Besides democracy, philosophy, theatre and mathematics, they gave us colourful stories of tragic heroes and interfering gods. They depicted their gods in art and built magnificent temples, like the Parthenon. The Greeks developed the rules for Western art which we still use today. Later artists, like Michelangelo, were inspired by the Greeks and the design of public buildings show their influence to this day.
