About this program

As school academics in a game and leadership training model, playing chess and being smart are interconnected. Chess teaches higher level thinking skills such as visualization, analysis and critical/logical thinking and analysis. Garbed with a ‘commander’ (leader) self-image, kids get trained in life-skills goal-setting: checkmate! For anyone proficient with basic tactics and advanced strategies.
