Yuk Yuk’s University provides an introductory class taught by professional stand-up comedian Brett Martin. This engaging seven week course (2.5–3 hours per night) culminates in the grand finale Yuk Yuk’s University Showcase at the North Delta Centre of the Arts theatre, where your friends and family can watch you shine on stage in front of a live audience. Beyond learning some comedy chops, this course boosts confidence, making boardroom presentations more impactful and teaches a few humorous tricks to grab any audience’s attention. No matter your goal, this is a high-quality course that introduces you to a new art form while you make new friends along the way. About your teacher: Brett is a nationally touring Yuk Yuk’s headliner whose work has been featured on CTV Comedy and SiriusXM. On top of that, he’s a thoughtful teacher who connects with his students and brings out the best in each aspiring comic and/or public speaker. Refund Policy: A prorated refund is available for any withdrawals prior to the start of the 3rd class. Once the 3rd class starts, no refund will be provided.
